Dear Readers,
Mimi has another Kiss (Keep It Simple, Stupid) tip for you that will come in handy during the holiday baking season.
Consolidate all your baking utensils and ingredients onto one shelf or area. It makes your recipe preparations very convenient. Here are the things to arrange together: flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, vanilla, other liquid extracts, 2 sets of nesting measuring cups (1 for dry and 1 for wet ingredients), 2 sets of measuring spoons, glass or plastic measuring cups with pouring spout in 1, 2 and 4 cup sizes and mixing bowls. If you have a very large area, store cupcake, loaf and cake pans along with cookie sheets together.
The point is to have everything you need at your fingertips. So go ahead, throw on an apron and let the “Betty Crocker” in you come out!
Keep smilin’!
